Yesterday I had my final thesis critique at the New York Academy of art. The past two years have been an amazing, irreplaceable experience. This life-size figure, almost finished and yet to be titled, is the culmination of months of labor and countless late nights, and has taught me not only about sculpture, but also about myself as an artist and person in general. I've been very bad about posting progress pictures of it, but if you'd like to come see the final sculpture and dozens of other breathtakingly talented artists' work, please consider coming to our MFA Thesis Exhibition on Thursday, May 16th from 5-7pm at the Academy, 111 Franklin Street, NY.
